Robert Schnell is a native Albertan, born in Killam and raised in Camrose. He attended the University of Alberta where he enrolled in the combined B.A./LLB program. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1959 and his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1960. Bob completed his Articles in 1961 here in Red Deer with the late H.F. (Scotty) Macdonald - the original founder of Schnell Hardy Jones. Bob was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1982. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.

David Hardy was born in Midale, Saskatchewan and raised in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. He attended the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Saskatchewan receiving his B.A. in 1977. He completed his education at the Faculty of Law, University of Saskatchewan where he received his LL.B. in 1977. David completed his Articles in Red Deer in 1978. He joined Schnell Hardy Jones as an associate in June 1978 and became a partner in 1980. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1998. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.

Marty Jones was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He attended Faculty of Arts and Science at U of C receiving his B.A. in 1978. He then attended the Faculty of Law at U of S receiving his LL.B. in 1980. Marty completed his Articles in Red Deer in 1980 and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in June 1981. He joined Schnell Hardy Jones as an associate in December 1984 and became a partner in 1988. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.

Will was born in Bassano, Alberta. He attended the University of Calgary where he received his B.A. in 1977. This was followed by an additional year to obtain a second major. He then continued his education at the University of Calgary receiving his LL.B. in 1981. Will Articled with Alberta Justice and completed his Articles in 1982. He worked for the Crown Prosecutors Office until 1987 when he commenced private practice. Will joined Schnell Hardy Jones in 1999 and became a partner in 2000. Will is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.

Rick Howarth is a native Albertan, born in Red Deer. He attended Red Deer College for two years and then transferred to the University of Calgary receiving his B.A. in 1989. He continued attending the University of Calgary where he received his LL.B. in 1992. Rick completed his Articles at Schnell Hardy Jones in 1993. He then joined Schnell Hardy Jones as an associate. Rick became a partner in 1996. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.

Eron was born in Arnprior, Ontario and moved to Alberta while still very young. He attended the University of Calgary receiving his B.A. in 1999. Eron continued his education at the University of Alberta where he received his LL.B. in 2002. He then completed his Articles at Schnell Hardy Jones in June 2003. Eron joined the firm as an associate. He became partner in 2006. Eron is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.

Dave joined Schnell Hardy Jones in 2005 and became a partner in 2008.

Trista was born in Calgary, Alberta and moved to Red Deer in 1990 with her family. Trista attended high school at Lindsay Thurber and went on to attend Red Deer College for two years. She then transferred to the University of Lethbridge where she completed her Bachelor of Management (Commerce) in 1999. Trista continued her education at the University of Calgary receiving her LL.B. in 2005. She completed her Articles at Schnell Hardy Jones in 2006 and joined the firm as an associate. She is a member of the Law Socieity of Alberta.
