Q: Where do I start?
A: Amongst other things, your meeting with your lawyer will generally cover a review of 3 elements of your home purchase:
- A review of the offer to purchase and the obligations between you and the seller.
- A review of the mortgage and the obligations and requirements between you and the bank.
- Money – Reviewing all your obligations with respect to Purchase Price and adjustments thereto, costs associated with title registrations, searches, meeting bank requirements, legal fees and disbursements.
